Kesia B. - GENERAL MANAGER/HEAD CHEF
Kesia Boamah is an entrepreneur/co-founder of IrieJam Island Grill LLC. She has a deep passion for cooking and over 15 years of combined experience in the restaurant, customer service and hospitality business.
Kesia was born and raised in a town an hour away from Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Last of 12 children, she learned to cook at the age of 8 during her Childhood from her mother and siblings who are equally good cooks.
At the age of 21, Kesia teamed up with her siblings and a native from Florida to open Reggae Cafe restaurant in Negril, Jamaica. She managed the operation at Reggae Café up until she migrated to the US where she worked at The Broadmoor resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado for several years.
She has compiled and perfected Jamaican recipes passed down from her mother and now offers the opportunity to experience real taste of Jamaican cooking at IrieJam Island Grill
Augustine B. - CEO
Augustine Boamah is an entrepreneur and the current CEO/founder of IrieJam Island Grill LLC. Born in Ghana, Augustine has always been bright, hardworking, dedicated and creative from a young age. Having received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Science and Technology, Ghana and Masters from The Ohio State University, he worked in information technology and customer service industry for several years. Augustine is well-liked by his staff at IrieJam Island Grill and committed to ensuring that all IrieJam customers receives the best quality of food and positively exceptional experience from IrieJam Island Grill.
